The workshop will also explore ways to foster resilience, strengthen allyship, and maintain momentum in the face of ongoing challenges.

Dr. Nika White
President and CEO
Nika White Consulting
Dr. Nika White helps maximize people’s and organizations’ effectiveness, potential, and capacity. Her overall praxis and scholarship are in organizational development, specifically focusing on systematically operationalizing strategic and intentional efforts that foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). Her work has led to her designation by Forbes as a Top 10 D&I Trailblazer. Over her 20+ years of leadership, she has worked with hundreds of organizations and managed millions in business assets for clients. Dr. White’s latest release, Inclusion Uncomplicated: A Transformative Guide to Simplify DEI, was published by Forbes Books in 2023. As the founder and lead principal consultant of Nika White Consulting (NWC), a full-service boutique DEIB consulting firm, Dr. White leads a team with the mission of making DEI practical so that organizations can shift systems to cultivate a culture of belonging and go to the next level of the DEI journey.

Erick Garcia, MHA, is a dynamic leader specializing in healthcare administration, human resources, and equity, inclusion, and diversity (EID). With over eight years of experience in large, multi-state organizations, he has successfully advanced inclusive cultures, addressed health disparities, and built sustainable equity programs. Since joining Mayo Clinic in 2021, Erick has served as the Enterprise EID Advisor for the Arizona site, supporting leadership, physicians, scientists, nurses, and allied health staff. He drives a culture of belonging through education, mentorship, community outreach, and social media initiatives, ensuring all employees can bring their authentic selves to work. Erick holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University and a master’s in healthcare administration from Grand Canyon University. A proud father and husband to an emergency department nurse, he is a courageous servant leader who challenges the status quo to inspire change.
Kamana Khadka
Manager, Diversity Equity and Inclusion

Kamana Khadka is a dynamic Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) leader with over 14 years of experience driving workplace transformation. As Manager of DE&I at Cable One/Sparklight, she leads enterprise-wide initiatives, leveraging data and cross-functional collaboration to embed equity and belonging into corporate culture. She also serves as a Board Ambassador for the company’s I&D Advisory Board, guiding strategic inclusion efforts. Passionate about advancing women in the workplace, Kamana is the ID&E Director for the WICT Southwest Chapter, where she designs mentorship and leadership programs that empower diverse professionals. Her industry impact earned her the 2024 Advocate for DE&I award. With a master’s in public health and an Advanced DEI Professional certification from Cornell University, Kamana is committed to shaping the future of workplace inclusion. Whether driving strategic initiatives, speaking on industry panels, or mentoring emerging leaders, she champions equity and innovation.
